SCHEDULE OF RATES, FEES AND CHARGES
$92.50 per Quarter, billed in advance, regardless of water use.
Commodity Rates per Cubic Foot (CF)
Charged based on prior calendar quarter consumption. Meters are read on or about the last day of the calendar quarter and invoiced in the month following the end of the calendar quarter.

The current Members fee for new hook-ups is $14,040.00, which gives the property owner the right to connect to the SV/SLB HOA water system. This fee is based upon the accumulated assessments paid by property owners, the cost of building out the system, and other costs incurred in the past, which were shared by all property owners connected to the system. There are additional expenses new property owners will incur to become connected to the water main, which includes all costs associated with running lines and connecting a meter to the water main (Service is provided by the Association’s Water Service Provider and billed back to the property owner), the cost of the water meter (supplied by the Association but charged to the property owner), and the cost incurred directly by the property owner, running a line from the water meter onto their property.
Further, for properties with devices on them which could be a risk for back flow into the Association’s Water Main, there is a State mandated requirement to install a Back Flow Prevention Device, and have it maintained annually. The Water Association will provide instructions to all new Property Owners connecting to the system, in order to keep communication current and clear. All Property Owners must abide by the Rules and Regulations, as posted and updated on this web site, as well as the By-Laws of the Association.

$120.00 for service disconnection and reconnection. The Association reserves the right to suspend service on any account with a balance 20 days past terms. (charged in cases where water bills remain unpaid and over credit terms. A letter of intent to disconnect is sent prior to disconnection)

– Any account unpaid 31 days after date of invoice is considered delinquent. Reminder notices will be sent via US Postal Service and if necessary, we will send a Certified Letter notifying the delinquent member of intended water shut-off date.
– Fees for delinquent accounts may include: $25 and $50 delinquency handling fees for first and second demand letters; $15 Certified Letter fee for the second demand letter; $50 shut-off notice fee; any Island County lien fees, (currently $104.50) and any other fees incurred by the HOA for preparation and filing of information related to a delinquent account.
– Disconnect/Reconnect Fees may include the above fees plus any charges incurred by the HOA for reconnection of service.
– All fees are subject to change by Island County, the Board and other service providers. All fees incurred by the HOA will be passed on to the delinquent member.

If you require SV/SLB HOA to assist in a water emergency or problem which originate on your side of the meter, you will be charged with actual costs incurred by SV/SLB HOA related to the response.
The above rates are those in effect at the date shown above. These rates are subject to change by the Board of Directors. The actual rates imposed will be those rates in effect at the time the service is ordered, required and/or delivered.
