Department of Health (DOH) Grant Funded Consolidation Feasibility Study 2023-2024

Working together, Sun Vista/Sunlight Beach Homeowners Association and Sunlight Beach Water Association have been awarded a $50,000, two-year, no cost, no obligation Consolidation Feasibility Grant through the Washington State Department of Health (DOH), Office of Drinking Water ending December 31, 2024.  Grant funded work will assess the feasibilities and costs of options to address contamination and infrastructure risks to both water systems operating independently and operating as a consolidated water system.

The grant includes interim and final presentations on the study results to both water systems’ memberships. The grant will provide essential information to each water system enabling informed decisions about how best to continue to provide safe, reliable, and affordable drinking water.
